As America marks its 250th anniversary, we wanted Fall 2026 to be photographed in a setting that speaks to the country’s architectural and cultural heritage. Lynnewood Hall offered that connection—a landmark of American design and craftsmanship, and a fitting backdrop for a brand with more than a century of tailoring history of its own.
Set within its storied walls, the Samuelsohn and Heritage Gold Fall 2026 campaign brings contemporary tailoring into conversation with a remarkable piece of American architectural history.

Built in 1899 for Philadelphia industrialist and art collector Peter A.B. Widener and designed by celebrated architect Horace Trumbauer, Lynnewood Hall is one of America’s great surviving Gilded Age estates. The 100,000-square-foot residence was conceived with extraordinary attention to detail and once housed one of the country’s most important private art collections.

The Widener family’s history is also intertwined with the Titanic. Peter Widener was a major investor in the company that owned the White Star Line; his son George and grandson Harry were lost aboard Titanic in 1912, while George’s wife, Eleanor, survived.
Today, as Lynnewood Hall undergoes an ambitious preservation and restoration, its scale, proportion and extraordinary craftsmanship create a natural dialogue with the collection—two traditions of craft, brought together through a modern lens.
Past and present, brought together through craft.
